Location & decor. Excellent continental breakfast where the on duty mitre-de did prepared a wonderful omelette

No tea/coffee making facalities in rooms ( bring your own kettle)

Comfortabe beds; blackout curtains. Quiet.

The ineffective air condtioning; room very stuffy. Would be impossible to sleep in summer. Strong smell of cigarette smoke (supposedly non smoking floor, but presumably ignored)

Location was ideal, room very comfortable, breakfast plentyful, front desk staff very helpful.

It took two hours to find the hotel! A map giving clear directions for navigating the one way streets should be on the website as sat nav did not recognise the address.

All members of staff were always polite and friendly. Our room was spacious enough for a four day stay and was always clean tidy on our return from sightseeing. Bearing in mind the location so close to the centre of the city it was quiet at night.The breakfast was very good indeed.

We would not have liked one of the ground floor rooms with no exterior aspect but were aware of this problem from earlier reviews
